The expansion joint of PE100 plastic pipe should meet the requirements

Before the PE100 plastic pipe is installed, the pipe supports should be embedded, and the installation spacing of the hot and cold water pipe supports should meet the requirements of the specification. It should meet the vertical and horizontal bending of horizontal pipes, the verticality of risers, the installation deviation of rows of pipes and valves, but should not be greater than the allowable pressure of the pipes. After the PE100 plastic pipe is installed, it should be slowly filled with water, and the water tightness should be checked after the water is filled. We use a manual pump to slowly pressurize to the test pressure, hold the pressure for 1 hour, and check that there is no leakage. The pressure drop within 30 minutes is less than 0.05MPa, which is qualified. The PE pipe must be heated when connecting. If the temperature is too low, it will not melt, and burrs will easily occur.

Excessive temperature of PE100 plastic pipe will easily lead to resin deterioration and poor connection. Avoid contact with paint, asphalt and other organic substances during storage and installation; do not store in the open air to prevent direct sunlight. When the temperature difference between the construction site and the pipeline storage place is large, it should be placed on the construction site for a period of time to make the temperature close to the construction site temperature. Axial distortion is not allowed when the pipe is installed, and forced correction is not allowed when passing through the wall. When installed in parallel with other metal pipes, there should be a certain protective distance, and should be installed on both sides of the metal pipe, and cannot be rotated for hot-melt splicing and correction.

When welding elbows, tees and other pipe fittings, attention should be paid to their direction, and their positions should be marked with auxiliary marks on the straight line direction of the pipe fittings and pipes. The PE pipe shall be provided with expansion joints according to the design requirements. Generally, the expansion joints shall be set at the combined attachments for each layer. The expansion joints of the sinking drainage pipes on the same layer and the ground drainage pipes on the same layer are located 7-10 cm above the confluence pipe fittings; if they are on the backfill layer, expansion joints can be set at 15-20 cm from the decorative ground. If the branch pipe is close to the floor slab on the same floor, an expansion joint can be arranged in the middle of the pipe.

The setting of horizontal pipeline expansion joints should also meet the design requirements. When installing, it should be noted that the rubber ring of the PE100 plastic pipe expansion joint should be in the direction of water connection. The two ends of the casing in the wall are flat on the decorative surface, and there should be no problem with the hanging drainage under the floor. The casing cannot be installed in the sinking drainage on the same floor, and can only be waterproofed. The waterproof layer should be below the horizontal branch pipe, and the riser extends to form the ground part. The waterproofing of the surface layer should be done well, otherwise the sinking structure will become a puddle, and there will be leakage in the future, which is troublesome.
